Don’t Miss These Deals! Limited Quantity Deals of More than 20% on Choice Flank Steak!

Average Wholesale prices have been up the past couple of weeks, but there are still quite a few opportunities for restaurant operators to find deals out there. We are seeing more Fresh to Frozen deals than we have in the last couple of weeks. Checking out different Brand opportunities continues to have the most deals across most product categories.

We also know that restaurant operators don’t always want to have to change their primary vendor. All of the opportunities below are from within single distributors! So here are the deals this week:

tl;dr

  • Brand deals can be found in almost every category, so take some time to compare your current order guide. Fresh to Frozen deals made a comeback this week, with even a Beef deal!  Produce deals continue to be mainly in Odds & Ends with more opportunities with grade, packaging, and size. If the differences work for you then you have a chance to save money.

  • Slightly lower discounts this week. You can find deals of 36%-37% from single vendors with similar opportunities across vendors (37%-42%).  As usual, you can find deals even if you are using just one vendor.

  • Potential Cash and Carry savings are down big this week (34%). Likely not worth it unless you are dealing with an emergency shortage.


Brand

We keep seeing lots of deals this week with similar products from different brands. Keeping most attributes consistent, there definitely are trends in several product categories where you can find better deals with some brands than others. Some more Fresh to Frozen discounts this week, with Chicken opportunities coming back. If a frozen option works for you, this can still be a good opportunity to get your normal product at a huge discount, especially fresh to frozen. Frozen product can also give you a buffer with uncertain traffic.
