Average Wholesale prices spiked 2.38% this week, but a continued drop in traffic is likely leading to some excess inventory and an increase in Fresh to Frozen deals this week. Hopefully, some of them are the right fit for you! We save you the time of searching and point you towards the best deals out there this week. You can decide if it is the right fit for you. 

We also know that you don’t always want to have to change your main vendor. All of the opportunities below are from within single distributors! So here are the deals this week: 

tl;dr 

  • A ton more Fresh to Frozen and Frozen deals this week. If this works for you, definitely worth checking out the protein and cheese products that are hitting you the hardest. We are still seeing consistent deals on the Brand side

  • You can find deals of 35-43% from single vendors with similar opportunities across vendors (33%-45%).  There are plenty of good deals staying with your regular vendor. 

  • Potential Cash and Carry savings are up this week (44%). If you have some items that are hitting your bottom line particularly hard and have some flexible labor, you may want to check out your local Cash and Carry. We saw a Pork Loin Boneless Center Cut for 30% less.

Still quite a few deals this week were on similar products from different brands. Keeping most attributes consistent, there definitely are trends in several product categories where you can find better deals with some brands than others. Lots more Fresh to Frozen and Frozen deals this week and the discounts are up (90%!!!) too. Fresh to Frozen discounts are about double the savings of fresh vs frozen. If a frozen option works for you, this can be an excellent opportunity to get your normal product at a huge discount. Frozen product can also give you a buffer with uncertain traffic.
