Don’t Miss These Deals! Look for Limited Quantity Options to Save Over 20%!

Another week with Fresh to Frozen deals being few and far between while restaurant and foodservice operators can continue to find deals on different Brands of 10%-50% and in Odds and Ends deals of 10%-20%. One consistent opportunity in Odds and Ends is when a new SKU is created for limited quantities of a product. You may not see it in your Order Guide or Purchase History, but if you spend time searching (or let our Smart Shopping Assistant do it for you automatically) you can find 20% off or more on the EXACT same product that your distributor is trying to move. So keep an eye out for them!

We also know that restaurant operators don’t always want to have to change your main vendor. All of the opportunities below are from within single distributors! So here are the deals this week:

tl;dr

  • Lots of Brand deals out there this week including Chicken and Beef, so take some time to compare your current order guide. Just a few Frozen deals this week, but it does include some Pork Shoulder, which considering the price of Pork you should check out!  Produce deals continue to be mainly in Odds & Ends with more opportunities with grade, packaging, and size. If the differences work for you then you have a chance to save money.

  • Another week with lower overall discounts. You can find deals of 32%-36% from single vendors with similar opportunities across vendors (34%-41%).  As usual, even if you are using just one vendor you can find deals.

  • Potential Cash and Carry is the same this week (43%). So if this is an option for you, you may want to keep an eye out for deals.

You made decisions on what you would source when you first decided on the menu item, but how often can you check what is going on with prices now? Can you make a slight adjustment to save money without negatively affecting the end dish? Here are some of the products you may want to look at your options this week:
